What does a gut microbiome test measure?
The Nahibu test uses shotgun metagenomic sequencing to describe the microbial composition of your stool sample. Your report presents diversity indicators, the species identified and the functional potential suggested by the genes detected.
These results describe your microbiome at the time of sampling. They do not identify the cause of symptoms or provide a medical diagnosis. Before choosing a test, explore a sample report and the method's interpretation limits. An optional consultation with a dietitian-nutritionist can help you understand your Nahibu results.
